Dear students,
as announced during the course 'Sociology, Places and Cultures of Sustainability, you have the opportunity to submit abstracts to a conference on land use in marginal areas. In past years, we have organized a session in English within the conference, using the abstracts submitted by students. This is an opportunity for you to practice your skills at a scientific event. The call for abstracts is attached to this message and included in the Moodle materials. There is an opportunity to create synergy between your exam paper and your participation in the call for abstracts, although it is clear that these are two independent evaluation processes. The conference abstract is evaluated by a scientific committee, which will take your status as students into account. The deadline is very near 31st December, but there will be some tolerance because of holyday period.
