Let’s meet, connect, and discover together through creative drama!
Creative drama is an experiential group process in which a topic is explored through
techniques such as improvisation and role-playing, drawing on the knowledge,
experiences, and lived realities of the participants. Any event, concept, newspaper
article, caricature, literary text, memory, photograph, or course subject can form the basis of
the work. It is a process of learning by doing and experiencing, aiming to foster creativity and
aesthetic development, critical thinking, social collaboration, communication skills, self-
knowledge, problem-solving, language development, imagination, listening skills, empathy,
observation, and collective decision-making.
Creative drama is not simply playing games, not theatre, and not dramatization for
performance; it focuses on in-group processes, interaction, rather than staging a show. It
does not require any previous experience in related areas.
