FINAL EXAM FOR NON-ATTENDERS
If you are taking the exam in January/February 2020 as a non-attender you can find an example of the exam and the scoring grid HERE in Moodle.
The exam will consist in writing an academic essay on a topic of general interest (language, society university etc.). You will NOT be assessed on your background knowledge of the topic. The criteria for assessment can be found in the Scoring Grid. You will be given an essay title and two short texts.
If relevant, you can illustrate the points made in your essay with examples from your own experiences. You will write your essay in the computer lab and you will be able to make use of online and/or paper dictionaries.
